We want to be good neighbors. Just as we want to take care of every guest that dines with us, we want to take care of our neighbors who might need a little help. Here are few of the causes we support :
ROUND IT UP AMERICA®
A program that gives everyday Americans the opportunity to donate pocket change by rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar, allowing for small and potentially frequent giving. While the individual donations may be nominal, their collective sum is powerful.
Round It Up America® aims to provide support to local non-profit agencies, such as food banks, homeless shelters and crisis relief centers that protect the welfare of children and older adults living in our communities as well as provide emergency assistance for military troops and their families.

SECOND HARVEST
Second Harvest coordinates food donations to food banks and other charitable organizations across the country. Wholesome, surplus food that has not been served to guests is prepared, frozen and stored at Yard House, then picked up weekly by a qualified, non-profit agency and delivered to local food banks. The food stays local and has an immediate, positive impact on the community. Yard House has donated more than 66 million pounds of surplus food to families in need since its inception in 2003.
THE DARDEN FOUNDATION
Yard House is dedicated to supporting the good works of our communities. Through the Darden Foundation, support is focused on three main areas where we believe we can make a deep and enduring impact:
Access to Postsecondary Education
Supporting students through high school and on to pursue a college or technical school education.
Preservation of Natural Resources
Working in partnership with organizations that conserve and restore water ecosystems, protect and preserve open spaces, and invest in community gardens that provide food for those in need.
Good Neighbor
Addressing hunger relief and other basic community needs.
Working in partnership with our fellow Darden restaurant brands, team members, guests, and community partners, we are able to have a meaningful impact on the communities in which we live and work.
